I went to this place for a A/C repair. They were very friendly and explained me how they were going to fix it . Later that day they said everything was working well and they filled some freon and recommended that i do full service where they would insert die to the AC so i accepted the recommendation and the next day the car was ready and the manager in the store said they take pride in their work and said if there is an issue to bring it back and they would take care of it with not cost and charged me close to $200. I packed up the car and brought it home which was like half mile from the shop after the weekend i started the car and the AC was not working so i took it back and later that they called me and said the valve was leaking and charged me $16 after they said that they do it for free and told me to pick the car up the next day and when i went the next day to pick up my car the gentle man sitting at the front desk is telling me that the condenser is very badly leaking and gave me a repair order of $1,400.00 and when i asked them how they did not catch such a big leak the first time they were giving me all sorts of explanation to convince me. Like the other gentleman said this place is a ripoff and not honest. I will never go back or recommend anyone to this place.
Mr. Samuel, I am so very sorry you feel this way and I thank you for expressing your concerns. I take full responsibility for the misunderstanding and would like to take the opportunity to clarify. You are 100% correct that you came in for AC repair and we did map out exactly how the diagnosis procedure works. We evaluated the mechanical and electrical components of the AC system, we recharged your system and installed dye. Your vehicle did not have enough refrigerant. During our first test for the ~$200 which included the refrigerant, there were no leaks or dye detected. We absolutely stand behind our work, and during AC season, our leak test with dye is guaranteed, period. When you returned after the weekend with AC blowing warm again, we performed the entire test all over again. The only source of dye was found at the schrader valve for the low-side and we asked for permission to install that part. You only paid for that part. We performed the full recharge at no cost to you per the warranty, including the dye test again. After letting the vehicle sit over-night, we retested the AC system again and found dye in the condensation pool. The source of the refrigerant leak is in the Evaporator Core located in your dash. The estimate for the repair to correct your AC was then given to you. My team delivered exactly what we said we would--an AC diagnosis that you paid for only once. I am truly sorry the Evaporator Core did not present on the initial visit and that the cost of repair is so high. I regret that you feel we were less than honest, for I take great pride in friendly, thorough and transparent service. I will be happy to discuss this with you further at your convenience to help in anyway. You and your vehicle matter. Thank you again, sir.
