Noelle did bring the 2004 Lexus in for inspection. While it did only have a little over 80,000 miles on the vehicle, which is very low for being roughly 16 years old, the vehicle did have some items which needed attention, which we documented through our digital vehicle inspection with pictures. I would like to see what the other repair facility repaired or replaced for you to see where we differed. I offer full transparency to all of my clients either in person or via texted/emailed images. Thank you for your review. I think $90 for just a gas cap is high too. I spoke to my Service Director and he explained that your vehicle had a Check Engine Light illuminated. He spoke with your spouse and ordered a Fuel Cap Assembly and Seal. The fee included seal installation, clearing the stored computer codes and re-evaluating the vehicle. While our facility is certainly not the least expensive, we do pride ourselves on providing services that others are not able to, including complete transparency. I am sorry that our installed service price was not communicated effectively and I will be happy to discuss this with you further at your convenience. Good luck with your new Lexus!
